Production Enhancement Specialist

About the Role
As a Production Enhancement Specialist at Ambyint, you will report to the Customer Success Lead, collaborating with both new and existing clients to foster an engaging customer experience while building trust. You will represent the production optimization aspect of the organization and act as the voice of our clients within Ambyint. Opportunities will arise for you to work alongside all functions of the delivery organization, including sales, product management, technology development, and operations, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Success
• Enhance customer success metrics, such as product utilization, user retention, and customer satisfaction, while proactively training and engaging clients to ensure increased lifetime value.
• Oversee the technical success of product implementations.
• Provide production engineering and artificial lift optimization assistance to customer engineering and operations teams.
• Deliver operational and product expertise, support, and training to clients.
• Ensure value delivery at every customer interaction from deployment to business reviews.
• Lead customer success team engagements with key client personnel through remote meetings, on-site discussions, and live webinars.
• Analyze, prepare, present, and communicate results of well optimization and artificial lift optimization to both internal teams and clients.
Analytics and Data Science
• Analyze and visualize engineering results using Ambyint and third-party BI tools.
• Utilize customized dashboards through third-party BI tools.
• Design and implement new methodologies for analyzing well performance and equipment results.
• Collaborate closely with the data science team to design and validate new algorithms for well and equipment optimization.
Product Growth and Strategy
• Develop internal and external communications, including customer engagement summaries, case studies, thought leadership articles, and technical papers.
• Participate in product development teams to recommend enhancements based on subject matter expertise, customer interactions, and feedback.
• Work cross-functionally within sales and product development to drive continuous improvements in business and product offerings.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a B.S. in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering with 3+ years of experience in production engineering within an E&P context.
• Alternatively, a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and/or at least 7-10 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing rod lift systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial; capable of prioritizing competing initiatives.
• A demonstrated passion for digital technology, analytics, or data science.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience in managing and optimizing plunger/gas lift wells.
• A fundamental understanding of the industry, market conditions, and their impact on producers' operations and profitability.
• Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification.
