About the Role

Neighborhood is a private, non-profit 501(C)(3) community health organization dedicated to improving the health and happiness of the communities we serve. We're seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team as an Early Childhood Development Specialist and lead our Healthy Steps program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups of patients, with a focus on early childhood development and relational health.
  • Collaborate with pediatric primary care teams to provide oversight of clinical interventions and follow-up for families with patients between the ages of 0-5 years old.
  • Lead the implementation of the Healthy Steps program, including designing, marketing, and evaluating health promotion programs for child development, social-emotional, and behavioral screenings.
  • Develop and implement social work treatment plans to address the unique needs of patients and families.
  • Provide consultation and training to medical professionals and practice staff on early childhood development, relational health, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure the Healthy Steps model is delivered with fidelity.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work required.
  • Valid CA Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) required.
  • Two years' psychotherapy experience working directly with children, adults, or adolescents required.
  • Experience providing health psychology services with an emphasis in early childhood development and screening assessments required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
What We Offer

Neighborhood offers a competitive salary range of $95,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is eligible for a $5,000 signing bonus.
