As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Nursing Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Nursing Department, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and values.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning, providing training and development opportunities to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and community agencies to identify and resolve issues, improving the quality of services.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of budgets.
Requirements
  • Education: A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of managerial experience in a skilled nursing community.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. Current CPR certification. High degree of integrity. Strong communicator and capable of leading change. Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and deadlines concurrently.
