MRI Radiologic Technologist Overview:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work Schedule:
This position encompasses various available roles that provide a range of day and evening schedules, full-time equivalents (FTE), and locations. Opportunities range from per diem to 40 hours per week. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 (pro-rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may also be available for qualified applicants. Your preferences regarding FTE, schedule, and location will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience, including shift and weekend differentials.
  • New hires may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 (pro-rated based on FTE).

  • MRI to:
  • Operate independently with patients of all age groups across various locations.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and repairs, engage in quality assurance, and address issues related to image processing and archiving systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and organize schedules, as well as triage routine and urgent procedures.
  • Participate in the training of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals, and may also engage in clinical research.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Minimum - Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Previous experience in healthcare. Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - * Certification from the appropriate body (ARRT and valid Wisconsin Radiological License) * CPR certification required within 3 months of hire * MRI certification within 30 months of hire. Preferred - MRI certification.
