Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As an MRI Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing technical imaging examinations and complex procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging examinations and procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Work independently with patients of all ages and in various locations
  • Maintain and repair imaging equipment, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving
  • Collaborate with staff to prioritize schedules and triage procedures
  • Participate in the instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals, and may participate in clinical research
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Wisconsin Radiological License
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • MRI certification within 30 months of hire
