Job Summary

As an Electrophysiology Specialist at HonorHealth, you will play a critical role in assisting the Electrophysiology physician in the performance of diagnostic EP, mapping, and ablation procedures. This advanced clinical role requires the ability to utilize evidence-based clinical knowledge to assist in the diagnoses and treatment plan of the electrophysiology patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Electrophysiology physician in the performance of diagnostic EP, mapping, and ablation procedures
  • Set up and operate diagnostic and treatment devices in the electrophysiology suite
  • Monitor hemodynamics and pacing/recording using EP recording systems
  • Document procedures in the EMR
  • Collaborate with medical staff and department leadership to recommend and maintain the supply chain of products in the EP suite
  • Train and monitor the performance of all personnel working in the EP suite
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiology Program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification
