Job Description
We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at TRC Total Renal Care Inc. in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and working collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical goals.
- Comply with CMS standards and regulations, as well as DaVita's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Must be willing to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
- Healthcare experience a plus, including BONENT certification, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
