Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop and coach employees to provide outstanding client service, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Client Satisfaction: Follow up promptly on client concerns and issues, consistently setting a positive example and demonstrating a calm demeanor during high-volume periods.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the makery's daily operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising, ensuring compliance with Buff City Soap brand standards.
  • Sales Growth: Develop action plans to drive sales growth, directly motivating and instructing the makery team to implement company programs.
  • Financial Management: Utilize financial reports to identify trends and issues, making informed decisions to optimize makery performance.
  • Performance Management: Regularly conduct performance assessments, providing feedback and setting challenging goals to improve sales performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College education preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Management and/or sales experience required, with basic computer skills and ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of client service techniques, operational practices, problem-solving, and organizational/planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Stand and Walk: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Scents and Fragrances: Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.
  • Dexterity: Dexterity of hands and fingers.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs.
  • Makery Cleaning: Ability to perform makery cleaning functions, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
