Job Summary

ECS Limited is seeking a skilled Construction Materials Field Technician to join our King of Prussia team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting observation, testing, and sampling of materials on construction materials testing project sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field activities, including observation, testing, and sampling of materials, under the guidance of senior technicians, staff professionals, and project managers.
  • Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment following industry standards and compliance.
  • Collect and analyze data, perform calculations, and document findings with precision in accordance with accepted engineering practices.
  • Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers, and attend project meetings as requested.
  • Participate in internal and external training programs and certification opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • No experience required; paid training is provided, and certification fees are covered.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.
