Aerospace Project Engineer II

Senior Aerospace SSP is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team in Burbank, CA. As a key member of our Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT), you will be responsible for leading New Product Development programs to customer technical requirements and procurement specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Proposals and Preliminary to Detailed Design of customer Line Replacement Units (LRUs)
- Development Part Fabrication Technical Support and Qualification/Certification testing thru Entry-into-Service (EIS)
- Sustaining Engineering Efforts and Follow all Senior policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree preferred
- 2-8+ years of experience in metallic or composite ducting and motion compensator design per ARP 699 guidelines as Project/Systems Engineer, or equivalent experience in ECS (Environmental Control System), bleed air, or AMS (air management system) system or component design
- Preferred experience with sheet metal and/or composite manufacturing/forming processes, analysis tools such as FEA/ FEM tools MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN, ANSYS, ATA NASTRAN/FEMAP, CAD software (CATIA V5 or Solidworks), and test experience with LabVIEW data acquisition/control VIs
