An exciting opportunity awaits for a Dentist specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This position is designed for a full-time, permanent role within a supportive and employed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess patients' medical histories
- Prepare patients for procedures by administering oral sedation or anesthesia
- Conduct thorough examinations of teeth, gums, and oral structures, utilizing X-rays and diagnostic tests to identify dental issues
- Perform dental cleanings and plaque removal
- Detect tooth decay and restore cavities with appropriate fillings
- Design and create dental prosthetics, including bridges, crowns, and dentures
- Administer teeth whitening treatments
- Execute tooth extractions and root canal therapies
- Carry out surgical procedures on affected tissues and bone structures
- Prescribe necessary medications
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride application
- Encourage regular dental checkups to promote overall oral health and preventive care
This role offers a competitive salary, along with retirement benefits, health insurance, continuing medical education (CME) opportunities, sign-on bonuses, and relocation assistance. Additionally, the position includes State and DEA reimbursement.
Importantly, there is no on-call duty associated with this position.
