Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient clinics, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing comprehensive care to help patients heal, strengthen, and rejuvenate. We serve a diverse patient population across multiple counties with a committed team of therapists, clinicians, and support staff dedicated to fulfilling AdventHealth's mission in the communities we serve.

In this outpatient role, you will deliver professional direct and indirect services tailored to specific age groups within rehabilitation settings.

You will utilize process improvement strategies to meet the objectives of the Sports Med and Rehab Department, practicing both autonomously and collaboratively to deliver optimal patient care. Your independent professional judgment and actions will define your practice.

+ Engage in promoting evidence-based care standards and lifelong learning through participation in research, journal reviews, teaching, mentoring, and clinical education within a peer group.
+ Actively participate in marketing efforts to build referral relationships with physicians, ensuring a minimum of two contacts per month. Support community awareness through participation in events and educational lectures as approved by management.
+ Determine Physical Therapy Diagnoses and establish care plans, making referrals when treatment exceeds the scope of practice.
+ Eligible to perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in outpatient settings as per state regulations.
+ Design and implement treatment plans based on practice standards, insurance guidelines, and patient needs, while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
+ Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida, or hold a Temporary State of Florida permit
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Two years of experience in an outpatient setting
+ Certifications such as CSCS or ATC
+ Strong manual therapy skills.
