Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team in Orlando, FL.

About the Role

As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical evaluation, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. You will work closely with our sports medicine team to provide care for local high school outreach contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician
  • Participate in the Athletic Training Services program, including coverage of school athletic events and practices
  • Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for rehabilitation of injured athletes
  • Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques to decrease the risk of injury
  • Record and track athlete response to treatment and adjust plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with the sports medicine team to ensure optimal care for athletes
  • Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures
  • Seek out outreach opportunities to promote the company and participate in events to promote the company's services
Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Applicable state license where required
