  • Establish and uphold team benchmarks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and operational procedures.
  • Design and oversee financial forecasting models, budgeting processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Direct the monthly financial closing activities, guaranteeing the accuracy and completeness of recorded revenues and expenditures, and generate monthly financial statements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and prioritize team tasks to facilitate successful audits and compliance checks.
  • Engage with various internal departments to ensure accurate financial and regulatory reporting.
  • Improve system efficiencies and operational processes by implementing industry best practices.
  • Examine and interpret financial statements for accuracy, identifying potential opportunities or implications.
  • Oversee systems related to sales tax, ensuring accurate reconciliation, accounting, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant combination of education, training, and/or experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years in accounting and/or auditing roles.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
  • Knowledge of compliance and control measures is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include CPA certification or a Master's degree in Accounting, experience in public accounting, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • A proven history of enhancing systems and processes is highly regarded.
