Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering both direct and indirect patient care.
- Developing comprehensive nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Communicating effectively with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and colleagues regarding any changes in patients' clinical conditions.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Completion of educational requirements for Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Possession of a current Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing or a valid multi-state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Commitment to obtaining a BSN degree within four years of employment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a Med/Surg hospital setting is preferred.
