Key Responsibilities
  • Documenting contractor's work efforts daily
  • Assisting with preparation of project closeout documentation
  • On-site material sampling and testing
  • Verifying accuracy of dimensions of construction activity/layout
  • Observing work in progress to ensure proper construction procedures are followed

This role requires a High School graduate or equivalent, valid driver's license, and obtainment of Work Zone Traffic Control (Advanced or Supervisor) within the first six months of employment. The successful candidate must also possess SCDOT Earthwork & Base Course Technician qualification within the first 90 days of employment.
