Emergency Department Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Everett, Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency care.
- BSN required.
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse License required.
- BLS required.
- Must obtain ACLS prior to end of orientation and may not practice independently without ACLS.
- PALS preferred.
- Newly licensed nurse must obtain ACLS and PALS within first six (6) months of employment.
- ED experience strongly preferred.
- 2 years' telemetry experience preferred.
- Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. standards.
