About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at Wm Bolthouse Farms, Inc. as an Equipment Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our forklift fleet, ensuring that our equipment is in top working condition at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair complex forklift problems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff on forklift maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in forklift maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery-powered forklifts.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
