Lead Veterinary Critical Care Specialist

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) is a dynamic emergency and specialty referral hospital seeking a passionate Veterinary Critical Care Specialist to lead as the Director of Doctor Training.

This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinary specialist who is passionate about education and mentorship. You'll have a direct impact on shaping the careers of talented interns, residents, and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Practice high-quality emergency and critical care medicine while overseeing and shaping our doctor education programs.
  • Lead and engage multiple doctor training programs, including Small Animal Rotating Internship, Emergency and Critical Care Internship, Emergency and Critical Care Residency, and Emergency Mentorship Program.
  • Foster an environment that emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and professional development.
Qualifications:
  • DVM or equivalent. Diplomate of the American or European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
  • Must be eligible to practice veterinary medicine in MA.
  • At least two years out of residency preferred. Prior managerial experience is a plus.
