We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead Manager to join our team at Qwalifize LLC, specializing in front-end software development. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing a new engineering team from the ground up, focusing on career development for each member.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include building and managing a team of front-end or full-stack engineers, providing essential mentorship to junior members and ongoing technical support to the team. You will also provide technical leadership, aiming to cultivate high-performing teams within the organization. Regular communication with business teams will be crucial, as you contribute to making critical technical decisions that impact various projects and products.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering and development is required.
- You must have proven experience in managing or leading a software engineering team, including providing technical leadership and mentorship.
- Strong programming skills with a demonstrated ability to write clean, well-designed code following best practices are necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design, and analysis, as well as networking principles, is expected.
- Proficiency with front-end libraries and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or other similar technologies is required.
- Skilled in addressing CSS/JavaScript cross-browser compatibility issues and optimizing front-end performance.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language from Java, Golang, Python, or C++, and experience with common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL, Redis, Kafka, etc., is desired.
- Experience with full-stack development is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong capabilities in software design are essential.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $225,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Seattle, Washington.
