Job Summary

Lam/Die Cast Technician C at ABB Holdings Inc. is responsible for performing various tasks in an industrial manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous mechanical experience, and the ability to read and interpret technical instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks in a Lam/Die Cast work center and demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily perform in one work center within a twelve-month period.
  • Receive and understand verbal and written technical instructions and respond in English.
  • Read and interpret information from prints, factory orders, routings, and other internal documentation in hard copy or electronic formats.
  • Function safely in an industrial manufacturing setting where factory physical conditions exist, including shift work as required.
  • Meet quality and productivity requirements.
  • Follow lock out/tag out and other safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Able to measure in inches and fractions using a steel rule or tape.
  • Previous mechanical experience, including blueprint reading preferred.
