Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled CNC machine operators to join our team at United Equipment Accessories in Waverly, Iowa. As a CNC machine operator, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality products while ensuring efficiency and productivity.

About the Role

This is a Weekend Shift position with competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Regulate machine functions, including reference planes, surface locations, speed, feed, depth, and angle
  • Select, align, and change machine tooling and attachment accessories
  • Coordinate with CNC programmers to prove out prototype parts
  • Optimize CNC programs to meet quality standards, increase efficiency, and reduce cycle times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of six (6) months combined experience and education in manufacturing environment required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree in CNC Machining, Tool & Die Making, or related field preferred
  • Comprehensive mathematic and problem-solving ability to operate equipment and troubleshoot errors
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Possess specific vision abilities, including near vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • Unassisted lifting up to 50 lbs. is required
