Job Overview

Commercial Plastics Nebraska is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Mold Technician to join our team at our Waverly, NE facility. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Tend injection molding press/assembly lines, special purpose machines, or industrial robots to mold workpieces to specifications.
  • Install molds by using hoists or forklifts to lift and manually manipulate them into place.
  • Set up and shut down molds according to setup sheets and diagrams.
  • Start machines, engage feeds, and observe operations to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Clean presses, molds, and parts regularly to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience required.
  • Knowledge of plastics properties and molding processes preferred.
  • Ability to qualify and maintain forklift certification if needed.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is loud, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee must regularly lift up to 55 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
