This position offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • To perform in-house calibrations of equipment or monitoring devices affecting product quality in a timely manner.
  • Report any Out of Tolerances (OOT) found during the calibration process following internal procedures.
  • Repair, troubleshoot or replace equipment, instruments, or parts as needed to perform calibrations.
  • Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
  • Calibrate all critical instruments used in drug manufacturing facilities per established calibration test methods in accordance with in-house calibration procedures within scheduled time frames.
  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electronic instrumentation and controls.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in electronics or instrumentation (2 years) and/or equivalent experience as a calibration technician in the Pharmaceutical Industry or a regulated industry.
  • ASQ CCT certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of calibration experience.
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Experience with CMMS.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage a multitude of resources and to be accurate and current with data and information.
  • The ability to create and contribute to an environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback, and recognition.
  • The ability to set clear targets and use performance measures to assess risk and opportunities in order to effectively manage the assets of the business.
  • The ability and willingness to change direction and focus in order to meet shifting organizational and business demands.
  • The ability to effectively manage oneself, demonstrate integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve development goals.

  • Specific expertise, skills, and knowledge within calibration gained through education and experience.
