Job Summary

The City of Spring Hill Tennessee is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our water treatment plant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of safe drinking water to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Water Treatment Plant Equipment: Operate and maintain various equipment, including pumps, engines, and valves, to ensure the efficient delivery of safe drinking water.
  • Monitor and Control Water Quality: Monitor and control water quality by conducting laboratory analysis of water samples and maintaining corresponding records and logs.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to Work All Shifts: Must be willing to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions

Employees in this role will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and hazardous materials. They will also be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs and ladders.
