Job Summary

The Lube and Tire Technician at Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers is an entry-level Automotive Technician position that offers a great opportunity to start your career in the automotive industry. As a General Service Technician, you will be an essential team member, performing maintenance services on guest vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services
  • Inspecting and repairing tires, wheels, and other vehicle components
  • Assisting with quick lube services and other automotive maintenance tasks
  • Working with hands overhead, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

As a Lube and Tire Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Changing, mounting, and installing tires
  • Wheel removal, tire repair, and balance
  • Quick lube type duties such as lubrication and oil change
  • Inspecting and rotating tires
  • Basic automotive maintenance work such as battery installation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive experience or a willingness to learn
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds
