Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Scheduler to oversee the local Project Management Operations. This role is crucial for providing strategic direction and leadership throughout all phases of project execution, ensuring timely completion of tasks within budgetary constraints while maintaining exceptional quality standards and adhering to contractual commitments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management, contract negotiations, and various project delivery methods (EPCm, EPC, E/P/Cm), with a proven track record of managing projects exceeding $1 Billion in Total Installed Cost.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a senior scheduler, including portfolio-level scheduling experience.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 for schedule development, updates, and management.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with project teams, managers, schedulers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives aimed at improving scheduling processes, procedures, and templates.
  • Additional Location Information: Ability to attend the office weekly and travel to various sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Planning team to initiate projects and develop initial schedules based on the Long Term Planning Process (LTP) and established project templates.
  • Facilitate the transition of initiation stage schedules to the project execution team, including Project Managers and Analysts.
  • Work closely with execution PMs/PMAs to create new project schedules for recurring or emergent work.
  • Maintain and update master P6 project templates as necessary.
  • Provide detailed guidance on project templates to support project schedulers.
  • Review execution portfolios for accuracy and appropriate coding.
  • Conduct QA/QC on project-level and program-level schedules.
  • Train new schedulers on project templates, logic, and procedures, and provide coverage during absences.
  • Act as a liaison between the initial planning team and the project execution team.
  • Manage the P6 Database, assisting with maintenance and periodic cleanup.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
