We are seeking a skilled Pulmonology specialist to fill a locum tenens opportunity near Dallas, TX. This role offers a unique chance to work in a Level II trauma center, providing consults only for patients with a range of pulmonary conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers competitive hourly compensation, negotiable based on experience, proximity, and availability. Additionally, we provide assistance with credentialing, emergency privileges, and travel, housing, and malpractice insurance coverage.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an outpatient setting, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, with no weekends or call required. The schedule is flexible, and we consider part-time schedules. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Allergies, Cystic fibrosis, asthma, lung transplant, pulmonary hypertension, sleep disorder, muscular dystrophy, neuromuscular disorders, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, chronic lung condition
  2. No admits (hospitalist on 24/7)

In addition to the above responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have the ability to grant emergency privileges to those with clear background checks.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be board certified or eligible with a Texas license. Experience in pulmonology and hospital-level settings is preferred.
