Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient communication
  • Perform EKGs and Spirometry as ordered by physicians
  • Report lab results to patients and follow up with physician instructions
  • Answer requests from pharmacies for prescription refills and prepare specimens for testing
  • Assist with office surgical procedures and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Perform other duties as requested by management, including floating to other offices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant program or certification preferred
  • Previous experience working in a medical facility preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
