Job Title: Senior GEOINT Systems Engineer

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Senior GEOINT Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering mission-critical capabilities that support intelligence-gathering missions from overhead systems.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can advise the Government on defining new mission requirements, performing Systems Engineering sub-tasks, and representing the Government team in working with development contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define GEOINT requirements
  • Develop and coordinate CONOPS of GEOINT mission planning and scheduling systems
  • Write and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on emerging customer needs
  • Understand system-to-system interfaces and function as an Integrator
  • Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
  • Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies, Identify risks and opportunities
  • Facilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition-level sprints and increments
  • Review Request for Changes (RFCs) and identify impacts, in addition author RFCs for the customer
  • Support Agile and DevOps automated test and verification

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in GEOINT systems engineering
  • Strong knowledge of GEOINT mission planning and scheduling systems
  • Experience with system-to-system interfaces and integration
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and development teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
