We are seeking a highly skilled SUE Technician I to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our field crew, you will be responsible for locating underground utilities using various methods and techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Perform utility surveys using designated equipment and software
- Prepare accurate and detailed utility sketches for office use
- Conduct field investigations to identify all utilities within the survey area
- Work collaboratively with office staff to ensure quality control and effective communication
- Document all locating procedures and results in a detailed and accurate manner
- Meet project schedules and budgets while maintaining a high level of quality and safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Ambitious and willing to learn with a strong attention to detail
This is a field-based position that requires working in various weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds with the assistance of a coworker. You must be able to work 40-50 hours per week and travel occasionally for longer durations.
