About the Role:

The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Technician position must be highly organized, professional, and motivated, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team. They should have a strong awareness of internal and external deadlines and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate, repair, and maintain all hotel lighting and related equipment systems.
  • Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including unclogging drains and fixing leaks.
  • Repair and maintain hotel appliances and equipment, including HVAC systems.
  • Paint and touch up surfaces, make minor wall covering repairs, and perform minor furniture repairs.
  • Repair and maintain the lock and key system.
  • Perform minor construction work, including carpentry and drywall repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and repairs of kitchen and restaurant equipment and furnishings.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of and experience in all facets of building maintenance, including electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent guest service skills and a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and have a positive attitude.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
