Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences when collecting blood and other specimens. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection, processing, and distribution. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Process and distribute specimens to the laboratory for analysis
  • Load analyzers and perform waived and moderately complex testing
  • Assist with clerical functions, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
Requirements
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Indiana Driver's License required
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
