Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and train positive and enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Develop and manage tasks to maintain a clean, adequately stocked, and well-organized store environment.
  • Schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain store image.
  • Implement non-discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees.
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and provide timely performance appraisals for all employees.
  • Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
  • Manage and supervise store employees to ensure accurate and timely completion of required reports.
  • Analyze daily sales and expense information to maximize sales and net profits.
  • Budget and forecast P&L lines and understand and manage merchandise margins.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees.
  • Ability to use computer and analyze reports.
  • Valid driver's license and adequate transportation.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
Working Conditions

Perform all work indoors, but may be required to work outside to clean parking lots, gas pumps, and take out garbage. Exposed to occasional cold temperature extremes and noise.
