We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex technical functions in support of engineering activities, including setup, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform highly complex technical functions in support of engineering activities, including setup, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions to diagnose and isolate equipment and system malfunctions.
- Direct complex engineering tests to collect design data or assist in general research work.
- Participate in the development of electronic equipment and provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in special projects as required.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years specific experience gained in troubleshooting, repair, and assessment of at least one of the following systems: Legacy HF (AN/URT-23 and associated systems), Link 11/Link 16, NAVMACS, TVS (AN/USQ-155), or Wireless (HYDRA AN/SRC-55 or SIWCS AN/SRC-59).
