We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. Key Responsibilities- Perform highly complex technical functions in support of engineering activities, including setup, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions to diagnose and isolate equipment and system malfunctions.
- Direct complex engineering tests to collect design data or assist in general research work.
- Participate in the development of electronic equipment and provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in special projects as required.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years specific experience gained in troubleshooting, repair, and assessment of at least one of the following systems: Legacy HF (AN/URT-23 and associated systems), Link 11/Link 16, NAVMACS, TVS (AN/USQ-155), or Wireless (HYDRA AN/SRC-55 or SIWCS AN/SRC-59).
