Essential Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the legal aspects of nursing practice.
  • Demonstrated critical intervention skills.

Required Experience:

  • Current California RN License with proof of ongoing education (30 units every two years).
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
  • Experience in critical intervention skills, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Completion of formal hospital orientation and annual non-violent crisis intervention training.
