We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Special Care Unit and Intermediate Care department at Allina Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families to identify their unique needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing.
- 0-2 years of RN experience, with consideration given to new graduate RNs.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training.
- ACLS/BLS Tier 2-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Multisource required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of RN experience.
This role requires the ability to lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently, as well as the ability to stand, walk, and move about the unit as needed.
