Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assess student achievement, manage behavior, and collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure a conducive learning environment.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled professional who can plan and implement instructional and learning strategies and activities that cater to the unique needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student achievement and identify areas of improvement
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding progress and expectations
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results
Requirements:
- COSpecial Education License required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

- A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
