Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Closing Management: Direct and supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Account Reconciliation: Ensure timely and precise reconciliation of financial accounts.
  • Accrual Management: Execute accruals to align costs with relevant activities.
  • Cost Management: Oversee cost accounting practices and establish standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Deliver comprehensive financial insights to both business and corporate leadership.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements to management and stakeholders.
  • Cash Flow Oversight: Manage operating cash, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).
  • Business Activity Evaluation: Assist in financial assessments for costs, projects, and other specific business initiatives.
  • Weekly Cash Reporting: Compile and report weekly cash flow summaries.
  • KPI Development: Create and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of progressive financial management and controllership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA designation is preferred, and an MBA is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Essential experience in cost accounting.
    • Proficiency in monthly closing processes, account reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
    • Comprehensive Profit & Loss (P&L) management experience.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems; knowledge of Infor is advantageous.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment across all organizational levels.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
