School Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells, a leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring that it meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment, and assist with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image, adhering to our values and standards.
- Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Be an excellent team player, with a committed and organized approach.
- Have a desire to succeed in your role, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Be flexible to work shifts, with a strong sense of timekeeping and reliability.
