Job Title: Ultrasound Technician PRN
Rapides Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in Alexandria, Louisiana, offering a wide range of medical services, including Cancer Care and Wound Care. Our medical staff consists of over 30 medical specialties, and we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
About the Role:
- As an Ultrasound Technician PRN, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound and vascular procedures, working closely with radiologists and other physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- You will be expected to maintain a good working relationship with all staff members, demonstrate flexibility in your work schedule, and take initiative to complete tasks independently.
- Other key responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment, sanitizing equipment between patient contacts, and consistently providing compassionate care to all patients.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification
