We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at CHI Health Mercy Corning. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient care plans based on evidence-based practice and nutritional needs.
- Interpret and evaluate current research related to nutritional care and apply it to patient care.
- Counsel individuals and families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selection.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and provide expert nutritional care data through all record systems.
- Promote communication between departments as a patient advocate and provide nutrition education to hospital personnel and community.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Registered as a Dietitian (RD) by Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed Dietitian in Iowa.
- Outpatient Oncology: Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) by Commission on Dietetic Registration within 36 months from date of hire.
- Diabetes Educator: Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) within 39 months of hire.
