About the Role

Surgery Care Affiliates is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Technician to join our team at our Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
  • Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management, including cross-training and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certification
  • Completion of Surgical Technologist course
  • Two years previous operating room experience
  • ASC experience preferred
  • ORT certification preferred

  • Competitive hourly rate: $20.00/Hr. (up to $32.00/Hr. with experience)
