Travel CVOR/Surgical Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR/Surgical Technician to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CVOR/Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting the surgical team during operative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with moving and positioning of patients
  • Clean and bandage wounds
  • Confirm procedure with patient
  • Maintain supplies and medical equipment
  • Meet technical skills as outlined in checklist

Requirements:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good stress coping skills

About the Job:

This is a travel CVOR/Surgical Technician position, which means you will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to adapt quickly to new situations. As a CVOR/Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the surgical team during operative procedures, including setting up and maintaining sterile equipment and supplies. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
