We are seeking a highly skilled WISe Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Children's Home Society of Washington. As a WISe Mental Health Therapist, you will provide direct therapeutic interventions to young children (ages 0-6) and their families in homes, childcare/early learning environments, and other community locations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to young children and their families using an infant/early childhood mental health framework.
- Collaborate with a WISe Facilitator and Parent Partner to develop and implement treatment plans that address the specific needs of the family.
- Participate in child and family team meetings to develop and implement cross-system care plans.
- Provide consultation and training to childcare/early learning environments and other community providers on infant/early childhood mental health.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of client records and statistics.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field.
- Valid Mental Health Counselor, Independent Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage & Family Therapist Certification/License.
- 2 years of experience working with young children and their families using an infant/early childhood mental health framework.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Prior experience in Wraparound or WISe program.
- Training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Promoting First Relationships, or other evidence-based infant/early childhood mental health models.
