Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.

Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Physical Therapist will work to determine a treatment plan, perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being, and evaluate the patient's progress.

The Physical Therapist will also observe and report the patient's response to treatment and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse and/or the physician.

Treatments will be provided to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.

The Physical Therapist will instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, the patient, and their family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.



Education and Experience

Licensure Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Washington
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
