About the Role:

As a Housekeeping Coordinator at Hyatt Vacation Ownership, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the efforts of the Housekeeping team, ensuring that all rooms are cleaned and prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room Assignment and Coordination: Prepare and distribute assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff, identifying room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room.
  • VIP Service Coordination: Ensure that VIP guests' needs are met throughout their stay, acting as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Team Communication: Communicate with the Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
  • Guest Experience: Welcome and greet guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, and interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Physical Demands: Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
