Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant will provide high-quality patient care to a specific out-patient population in a pain management setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to a specific out-patient population.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and record accurate patient data.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay current with the latest pain management techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the practicing state.
  • Intermediate knowledge of and experience utilizing a personal computer and word processing software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a pain management setting.
  • Knowledge of pain management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
