Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to a specific out-patient population.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and record accurate patient data.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay current with the latest pain management techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the practicing state.
- Intermediate knowledge of and experience utilizing a personal computer and word processing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a pain management setting.
- Knowledge of pain management principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
