Job Summary

The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for ensuring the hotel facilities are clean and sanitary for the safety and security of our guests and team members. This role assists the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain hotel rooms daily to ensure they meet established standards of cleanliness.
  • Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting hotel standards.
  • Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure they are completed in a first-class manner.
  • Provide guests with professional, efficient, and courteous service.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Fill in for staff as needed and order supplies as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Report any work orders or maintenance issues to the engineering department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Working Environment

The Housekeeping Inspector will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
