Job Title: Community Support Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Support Companion. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with disabilities in their daily lives.

Job Summary

The Community Support Companion will provide personalized support to clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes. This includes assisting with daily routines, such as nutrition, self-care, and social activities, as well as providing emotional support and helping clients to develop independent living skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients in their daily routines, including nutrition, self-care, and social activities
  • Provide emotional support and help clients to develop independent living skills
  • Assist clients with transportation, using personal vehicles or public transportation
  • Participate in recreational and educational activities with clients
  • Teach clients independent life skills, such as money management and personal relationships
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Committed to health and safety
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Positive and compassionate attitude
  • Strong ethics
  • Physical stamina
  • CPR certified

Work Schedule
